Marking a hiking trail to the ocean.
Sunday morning I walked 24 miles from the junior studio building to the Atlantic Ocean, stenciling up 89 trail markers along the way. They're mostly on road signs and telephone poles on the left-hand side of the street so that I could face the oncoming (often highway) traffic. I believe that they could reasonably be followed for the full duration of the route, though if you got lost you could pretty much just walk south until you saw water.
