My Sewing Projects

I learned how to sew when I was a kid, but I really started getting into it in the summer of '23. It all started with this jean bag.

I made it out of my my friends jean legs when he hacked them off to make jorts. The sewing is pretty bad (the stitches are way too long), but it was my first project, gimme a break. It has two pockets, one for a water bottle and the other for everything else. After making this, I got pretty into doing letterings. I had a job that gave me lots of free time, and I spent most of it watching old movies while sewing little decorations onto my clothes.

This was some of my first lettering. Not too bad. I love this shirt. It was a gift from the same guy who gave me the jort legs.

I thought this was pretty sweet. Then I ruined it by filling it in. You live and you learn.

I spent so much time wearing and sewings these jeans. I got them at Friedman's Army Navy Store in Nashville TN. The fake Levi's stitching took a lot longer than it looks. Now I only really wear these to get em dirty.

Some stitching and a name tag I put on a flannel that I bought at Walmart because I started tweaking when I almost bought another knife.

A little stitching around the collar of my favorite jacket.

I think this is the best lettering I ever did. Hannah, if you ever see this, sorry for stealing your jersey.

This one isn't that cool.

Old Glory came out pretty well. Shame I never really wear this.

This shirt was beautiful but too large, so I cut the bottom off and sewed the sleeves permanently rolled. This was inspired by Ben Gertner. Then I used the spare cloth from the flaps to patch the knee of my jeans.

That's about all I've done besides little hole and belt loop repairs. If anybody sees this and wants something sewed up or embroidered, let me know. I miss it.
